6 slices bacon
2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
1 cup finely shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup mayonnaise
Gedney Zingers or your favorite Gedney Dill Pickle

Directions
Fry bacon until crisp. Set aside to cool.
In a medium bowl, mix onion, cheddar cheese and
mayonnaise. Finely chop cooled crisp bacon.
Add to bowl and mix well.
Slice pickles into ¼-inch thick rounds. Pat pickles dry with paper towel. Arrange pickle rounds on foil-lined baking sheet. Spoon bacon-cheese mixture on top of each pickle slice.
Preheat broiler. Broil topped pickles for just a couple of minutes, until cheese mixture bubbles and turns golden brown. Serve immediately. Makes about 2 dozen.
